After production meetings, engage in one of two activities to hone your cinematographic skills.

In-Person: work in small groups to recreate a sequence from a random film! The challenge: you only have about a half-hour to figure out how to make it happen. You can do this all on your phone, but we would not object if you want to bring more sophisticated equipment.

Zoom: every participant will be given a prompt for an image or short shot to shoot. Each prompt will be a different shot type: close-up, bird’s-eye-view, the like. By the end, you’ll create a nice little resource for the rest of the club to learn about shot types!
